Mr Lee Kuan Yew, first Prime Minister of Singapore passed away on 23 March 2015 (aged 91). This series of photos showed the funeral cortege of Mr Lee along Jalan Bukit Merah, passing by CPIB (Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau). Many people of different backgrounds came as one to wave and pay their final respect to Mr Lee who was the founding father that fought for Singapore's independence as a nation state back in 1965. CPIB is significant as it represented the anti-corruption stand that Mr Lee fought hard for in our country as it made a difference in many aspect of our society from business practices to our citizen rights and nationhood.
