This is my 2nd submission to the "2nd Annual AI Horror Film Competition" organized by #CuriousRefuge ending October 21st at Midnight PST.
This AI video is a homage to the old-school ancient Chinese mythology of the supernatural fox vixen, how she lured corrupt men of power to their demise, sometimes to maintain eternal youth by consuming human blood. With the magic of AI, I hope to bring back a bit of that nostalgia with my own modern twist.
I admired films who uses mostly music, sound effects and visuals to tell a compelling story without having to resort to spoken words. To make it more universal since topics of terror can be culturally specific.
All the individual images are generated locally using #Forge with #FluxDev, then animated using #Kling and #Minimax / #Hailuoai image to video.
Sound effects, music and vocals are all fully generated in @ElevenLabs.
Everything was edited in #CapCut, stock effects, transitions, filters, color-grades, tracking, compositing in that app. Upscale it to 4K with #TopazVideoAI. Voilà!
